The technical staff support property for the Island Mountain project, located in the Wildhorse Estates community, was fully acquired (last payment made on mortgage) by ARNEVUT Resources Nevada, LLC (“ARN”). The support facility consists of a mobile home with three bedrooms and two bathrooms and a detached two-vehicle garage. The garage also serves as a supply depot and temporary storage for core samples from Island Mountain so that core logging can be performed without impacts from nighttime darkness and inclement weather.
The property is located approximately 10 miles (16 km) from the Island Mountain property, thereby allowing quick access to and from the project by staff and geological consultants. This especially was important during the 2012 and 2013 drilling programs when drilling occurred 24-hrs per day and during inclement and winter weather, which would have made driving 70 miles (112 km) each way to and from Elko, NV (the nearest location of adequate room and board and supplies) lengthy and hazardous to those working on the project. The support facility will continue to be used for support for the Island Mountain project when further geological and geophysical work and drilling resume.
